Welcome to the AssureID product release update. Our goal is to keep all customers — whether you integrate via SDKs or alternative methods — fully informed about the latest enhancements that strengthen reliability, performance, and standards compliance across our verification solutions. This update includes important changes for our Native and Web Mobile SDKs (SmartCapture | Acuant | MJCS | WJCS), along with feature improvements, security updates, and user‑experience enhancements across platforms.

SmartCapture iOS 1.2.2

Summary: SmartCapture 1.2.2 for iOS is a maintenance release which is focused on improved compatibility and performance. It adds support for the latest Xcode versions, helping customers stay aligned with current iOS development standards.The release also optimises document capture by improving image compression while maintaining quality, reducing file sizes and improving efficiency. Core face, liveness, and document capture capabilities remain unchanged, with updated underlying dependencies to ensure stable and consistent capture experiences.

SmartCapture Android 1.3.0

Summary: SmartCapture 1.3.0 for Android is a feature and maintenance release which is focused on improving capture quality, user experience, and overall SDK stability. It introduces improved and more consistent use of MaterialTheme across all modules and fixes issues caused by minification in the previous release.The release also includes a significant internal redesign of the detection and capture logic, enhancing reliability and capture quality. The SDK no longer uses Lottie for SmartCapture workflows, reducing dependency complexity, while core document and face capture functionality remains unchanged.
